Chris Curtis, the drummer, was my favorite Searcher.

Mrs. Grossholz was my mother. She went to the art showing, got his autograph, and gave it to me.

I lived and worked in St. Louis after college and one hot summer day after work I was stuck in traffic.
My old car didn't have air conditioning so my windows were open.
The man in the open convertible in the lane to my left was grimacing at me.

Yes, it's on the back of a check from February 1988. I found it in the trash.
I lived in a Toronto house in an apartment above what used to be a recording studio.
I did ask the previous owner if Phil had been in my apartment, and he confirmed it.
I also got mail for Phil for a while. He never came to claim it.
