From my mother's antique shop, this 90- to 100-year-old, metal Beech-Nut biscuit tin.
Top and 4 sides have pictures of historical sites in Mohawk Valley, New York.
Measures: 12.5" x 11" x 6" deep.
I've seen it on eBay for $275. Asking: $50.00
Trinket box designed to look like a book, with a blue glass insert. This came from my mother's antique shop. It's heavy to hold.
What makes it rare is that other boxes like it are missing the glass insert. Heavy, 2.75" x 2.75" x 1.25". Initials on the back: J.B.
Closest match I could find online - with no glass insert - was 146 euros or US $156.00. I will accept $150.

Match safe. Sterling silver, Art nouveau, 100 years old. This was my grandfather's. The initials are JLR (John Louis Reynolds; he went by Lou.) I never met him, he died 2 years before I was born. Measures: 2.25" long x 1.25" wide x .25" deep inches.
I've seen value on eBay of exact match: $225.
